In the "Real Estate Classifieds" central menu, in the homepage, select "Search by town" (selected by default).
In the first field, enter a post code, the name of a town or a department number. Select the kind of transaction, property and a price range. Then click on "Search".
N.B. : You can search more than one post codes, towns or departments at the same time, just filling in one reference after the other, separated by a comma.
1st case : If the search doesn’t bear fruits, two possibilities : extend the search in a area of 5, 10 or 20 kilometers around the spot ; or modify search criteria :
2nd case : If there are too many results, you are invited to modify your search criteria, budget, floor area, number of rooms and/or bedrooms :
Then you just have to click on "search" to display results.
You can also ignore this message, and display all results by clicking
click here in "Refine your search or
click here".
3rd case : If the city name doesn’t exist or is too generic (for instance “Saint”, like in Saint-Mandé, Saint-Tropez, Saint Jean de Luz…), you can be more specific by selecting one or several names in the list that appears (ticking the relevant box(es)) :
N.B. : You can select "all towns/villages" or "no towns/villages" (none of the above) clicking on the corresponding button. In the first case, all boxes will be ticked. In the other case, none will be ticked.
Clicking on "continue my search", will reveal all available properties in the town(s) selected – following your specifications, like kind of transaction, kind of property or price range:
You can extend the search in a area of 5, 10 or 20 kilometers around your spot, or modify criteria of the search.
In the "Real Estate Classifieds" central menu of the homepage, select "Search by map". A map will appear :
In the field above the map, enter a post code, the name of a town or a department number, and click on "Locate". The map, which is by default in map view, will focus on the department, post code or town specified.
You can also select the satellite view by clicking on the corresponding button :
Finally, you can overlay the two types of views by clicking on the "Mixte" button :
If the area is too big, you can reduce it by making a zoom : either clicking on the "+" and "-" buttons, or handling the scroll wheel of your mouse (if your mouse have one). A third way is to use the "Zoom" button. From then, you have to define an area with the mouse : click once to define the starting point, and a second time to define the end point. The zoom is then automatically executed.
N.B. : At any time, you can move the area, either clicking on the left button of the mouse and moving it, or using the directional arrows.
At last, you just have to select the type of transaction, type of property and eventually enter a price range in the corresponding fields. Then click on the "search" button :
N.B. : If the zoom level is sufficient, the number of properties available in the area displayed will appear underneath the map (any type of offer and property).
